NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR GOALS BECAUSE OF THE TIME IT WILL TAKE TO ACHIEVE THEM...
THE TIME WILL PASS ANYWAY!
I am now 53.5lbs lighter, (and yes those halves are important!).
When I first started KCALS I set my weight loss goal at 2 and a half stone. I got there last March loving and believing in the process.
I then carried on, achieving 3 stone, then 50lbs. I'm now looking at 4 stone). Slow and steady definitely wins the race for me.
Without KCALS, I honestly know I would have never achieved this. KCALS is life changing, if you want it to be, and I would recommend it to anyone.
I love staying for the meetings as there is always something new to learn, hints to pick up and it's a little bit of me time.
KCALS is now a way of life for me and a lifestyle choice that I am delighted to have chosen. For someone that has tried every "diet" plan going, I can't recommend this highly enough.

A lot of that comes down to personal preference. There’s always a story
about someone who loses 4 stone eating nothing but ‘junk food’ while
meticulously counting calories, NOT recommended! Find what works for
you. There’s no advantage to a low-carb diet versus a low fat diet for
weight loss, because both work the same way: by inducing a calorie deficit.
To be successful at losing weight and creating a healthier lifestyle that will
last forever you need to enjoy the food you are eating, so eat what you love
to eat not what someone else tells you to and be honest with yourself. That
means being honest with your daily food and drink intake by tracking,
weighing and measuring - guessing doesn’t work so well in the long run.
It really depends on your calorie needs, but in general terms, foods that we
consider healthy tend to have a high ratio of micronutrients i.e. vitamins
and minerals per calorie. Vegetables, lean meats, fish, fruits, berries, whole
grains, and lentils are all examples of foods that easily meet this criteria.
When it comes to weight loss, yes as long as you are in your deficit BUT
when it comes to foods and the human body, all calories are not equal.
For example, 100 calories of broccoli will affect your health differently
than 100 calories of French Fries. The types of foods you eat have an effect
on your health. High-quality foods not only provide health benefits, but
they also make it a lot easier to consume fewer calories in the long run.
Read the labels and find out!
Some foods are calorie dense without providing a lot of micronutrients,
that doesn’t make them bad or off-limits.
It’s up to you to make intelligent choices with food and your health, and
once in a while, with your taste buds, life is for living right?
